Texas Leadership Public Schools has adopted policies and procedures to promote the physical health and mental health of students. Those policies include required physical education and physical activity, counseling and guidance services, coordinated school health through the School Health Advisory Council, campus nursing services, and referral pathways to community providers.
Texas Leadership Public Schools has adopted policies to ensure that elementary school, and middle school, students engage in at least the amount and level of physical activity required by Texas Education Code § 28.002(l). Campuses implement those policies through the required physical-education and physical-activity schedule.
Physical and mental health resources available at each campus include the campus nurse, the campus counselor, and the campus administrator. Families may also use the STOPit anonymous reporting tool and the District Communication Portal.
If you are joining us from one of the following campuses: TLCA San Angelo, TLCA Midland, TLCA Abilene or Trinity Leadership (Arlington or Cedar Hill), we have re-directed your page back to our District Site. Welcome, and we hope this information is helpful to you!
